Meet the Doctors.
Dr. Brad Trotter
Dr. Brad Trotter completed his undergraduate studies and Dental School at Indiana University. Upon graduation, he entered the United States Navy as a Lieutenant and began his general dentistry career at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. Further tours of duty included Guam and the Washington Navy Yard. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP). Subsequently, he served three years as the Oral Surgeon at Naval Hospital, Naples, Italy and then as attending staff at the NMCP residency program. After 13 years of active duty, he continued in the Navy Reserve and retired after 26 years at the rank of Captain.
Dr. Trotter practiced for 14 years in the Richmond Virginia area before purchasing the practice from Dr. Mrazik in 2016 and starting Hampton Oral & Facial Surgery. He has been a part-time faculty member of VCU Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Trotter volunteers his time and talent for various Virginia Dental Association programs such as the Mission of Mercy, Donated Dental Services and Give Kids a Smile.

Meet the Doctors.
Dr. Ferguson
Dr. Ferguson is a native of Salina, Kansas. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Kansas State University in 2007 followed by his DDS from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in2011. Following graduation from dental school, he commissioned in the United States Navy in 2012.
After duty stations as a general dentist in Portsmouth, VA and the remote atoll of Diego Garcia, Dr. Ferguson went on to complete residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego from 2014-2018. Subsequently, he served as a staff oral surgeon at Naval Hospital Guam and Marine Corps Base Hawaii. He currently serves as an attending surgeon at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth’s residency training program. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, and reconstructive surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Ferguson stays busy raising his 3young boys with his wife, Elizabeth. They enjoy any and all things outdoors and active.
Meet the Doctors.
Dr. Kyle Lee
Dr. Lee hails from Hendersonville, Tennessee. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Alabama in 2010, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2016. After graduating, he completed a General Practice Residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Dr. Lee then served with the 2nd Dental Battalion at Camp Lejeune before finishing his Oral and Maxillo facial Surgery training at the Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command in Portsmouth. He was the ship’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon on the USS Gerald R. Ford during its first deployment and currently serves as an attending surgeon in the NMRTC residency program. As a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Lee specializes in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular interests in orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar, implant, and TMJ procedures. In his free time, Dr. Lee and his wife, Patricia, love exploring the outdoors, traveling, and cheering on Alabama football.
